Cellars are typically used to store wine or coal, not people.

My Parents moved us into a cellar and here the three young Baker Brother's lived and survived for seven long years . Without a Mother .

Our Mother could not live here because the conditions were deplorable . The cellar had 1 cold water faucet in the entire place . All the Bathroom had was a commode . There was no place to bathe and no hot water anyway. The conditions were not good in the cellar . The rent was $25. per month in 1947 .

The address was 826 Raymond Blvd. Newark N.J. This place is still there today .

During the Summer months I worked at a scrap tire yard , Terminal Rubber Company. Located on Doremus Ave. Ironbound section in Newark , New Jersey. I earned $30. FOR A 40 HOUR WORK WEEK

This is a true story .
